Rugged
The PC3000 is designed for combat vehicle applications. It is qualified to MIL-STD-810F standards for shock (Method 516.5 Procedure I) and vibration (Method 514.5, Category 13, 14, 20, 24) for tracked vehicle applications and is rated for conduction cooled operation at temperatures between -46C and +85C at the card edge.
Commonality
Thousands of PC3000 computers support the U.S. Army's Future Combat Systems. This massive deployment provides an established logistics and support footprint for the product, thus reducing long-term support costs.
Error Correcting Memory
The PC3000 supports up to 2 GB of DDR ECC (Error Correcting Code) memory for added reliability.
Low Power Consumption
When equipped with the 1.4 GHz processor and 2 GB of RAM, the PC3000 consumes a maximum of 28 W.
Expansion Capabilities
The PC3000 provides a PMC site for on-board expansion. Numerous PMC mezzanine options already exist for the card, including a CompactFlash site for on board storage and a dual Gigabit Ethernet card for improved connectivity options.
Information Assurance
The PC3000 is equipped with a Trusted Platform Module 1.2 (TPM). The TPM provides cryptographic capabilities to installed applications for improved security and data assurance.

All GD Canada SBCs are available in an as-listed configuration or in user defined configurations.
