AVAILABLE NOW

Rugged

The PS3200 is designed for combat vehicle applications. It is qualified to MIL-STD-810F standards for shock (Method 516.5 Procedure I) and vibration (Method 514.5, Category 13, 14, 20, 24) for tracked vehicle applications and is rated for conduction cooled operation at temperatures between -46C and +85C at the card edge.

High Power Density and Efficiency

The PS3200 provides 202 W of regulated output power at greater than 90% efficiency.

Load Sharing and Scalability

The PS3200 is capable of sharing output loads in real time; meaning that PS3200 supplies configured in parallel are able to compensate for a failed supply with no adverse effects on system performance. This feature enables cost-effective redundant power architectures for safety or mission critical systems.

Remote Management and Diagnostics

The PS3200 is equipped with an on-board management controller that communicates with outboard components over the I2C bus. This feature allows remote applications to obtain input/output voltages and card temperatures, and to command the power supply to shut down when needed.

VITA46 and cPCI compliant output voltages

The PS3200 is configurable to support voltages required VITA 46 based systems or cPCI systems.

When configured for a cPCI system, the PS3200 output voltages are:

  • +5 VDC @ 20 A
  • +3.3 VDC @ 20 A
  • +12 VDC @ 2.5 A
  • -12 VDC @ 0.5 A

When configured for a VITA 46 system, the PS3200 output voltages are:

  • +5 VDC @ 20 A
  • +3.3 VDC @ 20 A
  • +12 VDC @ 2.5 A
  • +3.3 V AUX @ 2.5 A

Customizable

All GD Canada SBCs are available in an as-listed configuration or in user-defined configurations.
