Rugged The SD7110 is designed specifically for combat vehicle applications. It is qualified to MIL-STD-810F standards for shock (Method 516.5, Procedure I) and vibration (Method 514.5, Category 13,14,20,24). It is suitable for fixed wing, rotary wing, wheeled or tracked vehicle applications and is rated for conduction cooled operation at ambient temperatures between -46C and +71C. High Performance DisplayThe SD7110 provides a 10.4" active matrix LCD with an XGA resolution. The LED backlight is capable of light 255 dimming levels ranging from <0.5 fL (NVIS compliant) to 150+ fL (sunlight viewable). The display has an impressive viewing cone of170 degrees in both axes. High Performance ComputingThe SD7110's provides best in class performance coupled with best in class I/O capabilities. Mated to the Core™2 Duo processor is Intel's 945GM / ICH7 chipset providing full featured I/O including 2x USB 2.0 , 2x GigE, 6x Serial, and stereo audio. The SD7110's Core 2 Duo processor implements Intel's Virtualization Technology (VT). VT enables the simultaneous execution of two operating systems with one processor core dedicated to each. With software support, this includes the ability to run real time and high-level operating ystems on the same smart display at the same time. Flexible Video OptionsThe SD7110 standard configuration provides VGA TV-Out (NTSC or PAL), or DVE video output. To maintain backwards compatibility with video displays that the smart display may replace, the SD7110 can be configured to support SVGA and four RS170 inputs. These inputs can be mixed with the onboard computer video to provide a split screen or picture-in-picture image to the onboard display or outboard video monitor. The four RS170 video input streams can also be captured at 30 fps at VGA resolution then compressed in real time (MJPEG or MPEG4) for storage to local disk or real time distribution over the network. Flexible Storage OptionsThe SD7110 provides an internal CompactFlash site and field removable solid state SATA disk. Either or both of these devices may be populated at any time. Low Power ConsumptionThe SD7110 maximum power consumption is 40 W. Extensive Built-In DiagnosticsThe SD7110 includes dedicated hardware and software components to provide BIT coverage capable of diagnosing 95%+ of hardware faults. Internal ExpansionThe SD7110 provides standard form factor expansion sites internally, including PCMCIA, PMC and PCI-express mini-card. There is also one custom mezzanine site available that provides PCI-E x1, USB 2.0 and GigE interfaces.Value-Added OptionsThe SD7110 also offers three value-added interfaces:
CustomizableThe SD7110 enclosure, bezel buttons, indicators and connector style and orientation can be modified to suit individual requirements. ![]()
